Skoda Fabia : The images on this page will help you to locate the ancillary controls that you need to be aware of in case weather conditions change during test. In addition to this, we have an image from under the bonnet to illustrate all levels checks.

 
Ancillary Controls
The indicator switch : (left side of steering column) Down for left turn signal up for right turn signal. This lever also operates the dip / main beams. Push away from the wheel and release for full beam / pull towards the wheel again for dip.
   
Wiper switch : Front screen : Pull towards you to activate screen wash. Push up one click - intermittent / push up two clicks - steady wipe / push up three clicks - high speed wipe . Back wiper : push the switch away from you to activate.
   
Light switch : Situated on the dash to the right of the steering wheel. Clockwise one click - sidelights / tail lights. Clockwise two clicks - Dipped headlights.

The hazard light switch : Can be found just between the vents in the centre of the dashboard.

   
Heater / blower controls : Left dial - revolve clockwise (hotter). Centre dial - blower (4 speeds) revolve clockwise to speed up fan. Rght dial - Point dial to centre top for demist, left for footwell, bottom centre footwell and face level vents, right for face level only.

Under the bonnet
   
The bonnet release catch can be found to the right of the accelerator pedal near the drivers door
Once released, a pin should be pulled through the grille as shown. The bonnet can be lifted now.
