Gerry's
examiner experience is put to good use when " mock driving
tests " are carried out on pupils. After learning to drive,
their skills are put to the test from the test centre using
the examiners DL 25 marking sheet. Faults are recorded and
used to help in remedial action. This gives the pupil a good
insight into how a test will be conducted and shows the instructor
how pupils react when only directional instruction is given.
The objective is - pass your driving
test ! In the latest change to the
driving test, candidates will have to drive
independently, planning
and reading road signs for a ten minute period.
